The Ugly-Brüno

Description:

Brüno is a gay fashion guru. He has his own fashion television show, Funkyzeit, a popular German-Language show. After making a fool of himself, he is ruined in German speaking Europe. He moves to L.A. to reinvent himself. Brüno goes through one reinvention of himself after another to get his cool back.












My Opinion:

Honestly I thought this was one of the worst movies made. It was just as bad as Borat in my opinion. Why would you make another one of these kinds of movies is what I do not get. I do not think any of these kinds of movies are funny. Its just a waste of money for making a honestly dumb movie this year. Some people may like these movies but i just did not at all. Its one of the ugly movies that i will never watch again. I do not recommend this movie to anyone.

The Bad-2012

Description:

This movie is a disaster movie about the Prophecy which the world is going to end on December 21, 2012. When the world starts to show the prophecy is true, divorced writer and father Jackson Curtis joins the race to help out with humankind before the world become completely wiped out. He goes threw this adventure with his ex wife, kids, and his ex wives new husband to try to save themselves and other people.









My opinion:

This movie was an alright movie. I thought some parts where just so cheesy. I do not believe in the world coming to an end at all. I believe that are planets will move or whatever but doesn't mean we are all going to die. In this movie there are like Noah ark space ships in china now come on that's really going to be the way to safety is going to china. Oh and that the only people that stay alive is the rich and government which is probably true to a certain extent but I felt like this movie was really bogus. I mean the prophecy is probably some what true but not the way the movie made it to be.

The good: Avatar

Description:

Jake, a paraplegic veteran, is brought to Pandora (another planet). This planet is inhabited by the Na'vi, a race with there own language and culture.

His brother was killed in battle, Jake Sully decides to take his place in the mission in Pandora. In the mission, he learns that his greedy corporation wants to drive out the Na'vi for the riches. If he helps this greedy corporation out they told him he would get his legs back, but being a Na'vi he already has legs so he has to choose what to do. While Jake was on his mission in Pandora he falls in love with a Na'vi named Neytiri and the colony. He felt like he found where he belonged. Which leads to Pandora fighting back to save there colony.

My opinion:

This movie is one of the best movies made this year. I really enjoyed the plot of the movie and how the point of the movie is love and family conquers greed and riches. Its a movie showing how you can find where you belong by anyway possible and that it will be randomly. I thought I was going to hate this movie when I first saw the previews but it surprised me. I really loved how they made the movie and the characters they choose for the movie. My two favorite characters are Jake Sully and Neytiri, how they fall in love when in the beginning Neytiri did not want him there. The battle at the end was interesting too, how the Na'vi who only had knifes and bows go against this corporation with guns and machines. I recommend this movie to everyone.
